Sunset in Santaquin, Utah

This is a slot canyon in Kanab called Red Canyon, it is one of the smaller slot canyons in the state but is spectacular nonetheless. Notice the indentations in the face of the stone...best guess is it wasthe way out of the canyon in a flash flood for the Native Americans who lived in the area hundreds of years ago.

Notice the logs wedged near the top of the canyon, they are probably 30 feet above the bottom of the canyon.

wow these are spectacular! they are so pretty! I miss Utah even more now! although it was really good to see so many parts of it.

I will keep looking for when you post more.
